New single released from the upcoming musical MILLENNIALS

21ST CENTURY GIRL is the second single released for the up coming score from MILLENNIALS, performed by Lisa Olivant with the Music and Lyrics by Elliot Clay.

Elliot Clay is an Off West End award-nominated composer (The State of Things, Thomas, Our Seasons End) and actor (Million Dollar Quartet).

Lisa Olivant is a professional vocalist and session singer. She has provided backing vocals for music megastars such as Kathy Sledge (Sister Sledge), Leona Lewis and most recently Craig David, Sugababes, Emily Sandé and Paloma Faith as part of DJ Spoony’s Garage Classical at Royal Albert Hall.

The debut single ‘See you’ was performed by Luke Bayer has been streamed in over 70 countries and 6 continents worldwide. ’21st Century Girl’ is the newest single from the musical. Its musical score and stunning voice is a song worth listening to.

With the vibe of empowerment and the strength of a female voice in this song, it is beginning to show the all the elements of what the musical is going to be in full and leaves us wanting more. With blaring horns, insane vocals and some seriously funky grooves, ’21st Century Girl’ tells the story of a female-identifying millennial finding empowerment through adversity.

A second single was due to be recorded the day that the Uk had entered into a lockdown, due to the current circumstances. Despite this and magic of technology and determination, lockdown didn’t stop the song being recorded and released. The song itself was produced at Auburn Jam Music Studio.

MILLENNIALS aims to push the boundaries of modern musical theatre, with a score that sounds more like a Glastonbury set or arena concert

MILLENNIALS is released as an album in 2020 before live performances scheduled for once arts venues reopen (TBA).
