Things to do this August
The summer has sprung on us quick and before we know it September will be upon us. Before August slips “away into a moment in time”, let’s take a look what you can do this August.
Fingers crossed the sun stays out for the summer.

Reading festival

Broadstairs Folkweek
Broadstairs is a coastal town on the Isle of Thanet in the Thanet district of east Kent, England with a stunning sandy beach overlooked by the Charles Dickens house museum: Bleak House.
During Folkweek you’ll enjoy a fantastic week of music, song and dance by the sea. There will be concerts, dances, ceilidhs, workshops, free family events, Morris dancing, pub gigs, parades and a festival campsite.

Watch a film
If you are like me and have not ventured to the cinema to join in the internet phenomenon that is Barbenheimer, then why not give it a go. Dress up in pink to see Barbie and get comfy as you watch the three hour long story-telling of a true historical event.
