December is finally upon us and the festive season has started, it’s time to deck the halls and get into the festive spirit.

Here is a list of 2023 Christmas films to delve into this holiday season, all available to stream on Netflix, Disney+ and more!

Now, with the rise of streaming, we’ve got an overwhelming amount of Christmas content coming out of our ears, with Netflix, Prime Video, and Disney+  all releasing new festive films for 2023.

‘Family Switch’

Where: Netflix

When family members switch bodies with each other, their hilarious journey to find their way back to normal will bring them closer together than they ever thought possible. With a ’13 going on 30′ feel and almost 20 years on for Jennifer Garner, she’s back with another body switch. The family is forced to help each other navigate landing a promotion, college interview, record deal and football tryout not long before Christmas.

Candy Cane Lane

Eddie Murphy stars in this Christmas comedy adventure about a man on a mission to win his neighbourhood’s annual Christmas home-decoration contest. But after Chris (Murphy) inadvertently makes a pact with an elf named Pepper, she casts a spell that brings the ‘12 Days of Christmas’ to life.

Genie

Where: Sky Cinema

Richard Curtis, the writer of Love Actually, is back with a new film this Christmas. In Genie, Bernard Bottle is in a rut. His wife has left him and he’s lost his job. But then he stumbles upon an antique jewellery box and begins to rub it. What pops out is Flora (Melissa McCarthy), who’s been stuck inside the box for more than 2,000 years, and is ready to grant an unlimited number of wishes. In this comedy festive magic, Bottle hopes Flora will help him get his family back, but he finds much more along the way.

Your Christmas or Mine 2

Where: Prime Video – Dec 8

A sequel to ‘Your Christmas or mine’ staring Asa Butterfield and Cora Kirk who end up spending Christmas with each other’s families when they attempt to surprise each other. In the new sequel, the families go on vacation together, but their very different lodging gets switched.
