Doctor Who: Christmas day episode time revealed

The specail episode named: ‘The Church on Ruby Road’ will air on BBC One/ BBCiPlayer in the UK and Disney+ internationally on December 25th at 5.55pm (GMT).

This is the first time the British sci-fi show has aired on Christmas Day since the end of Peter Capaldi was the 12th Doctor. Christmas Day brings back the blue telephone box to it’s TV schedule.

The episode previews as: ‘Long ago on Christmas Eve, a baby was abandoned in the snow. Today, Ruby Sunday meets the Doctor, stolen babies, goblins and perhaps the secret of her birth…’ As the new 15th Doctor, Ncuti Gatwa takes his Christmas Day debut for his first adventure, he teams up with new companion Ruby Sunday, played by Millie Gibson.
